Pattaya Showcases their Cherry Blossom trees

Thailand-Cherry-trees

Yes, magnificent cherry blossoms may be seen in tropical Thailand, as unlikely as it may seem. They are most commonly found in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai in North Thailand, where the chilly climate from the high altitude benefits them but Pattaya now has their own…

The wild Himalayan cherry trees, also called as Nang Phaya Sua Kroang or Tiger Queens by the locals, are the sakura species that can be found in Thailand. North Thailand is a worthwhile alternative if you lack the means to travel to Japan or Korea.

Although the blossoming of cherry blossoms is dependent on weather, a good time to travel would be between mid-December and mid-February. In North Thailand, the wild Himalayan cherry trees typically bloom in the winter.

Pattaya certainly does not have Cherry Blossoms as part of their indigenous flora in the south so the Mayor decided to bring them to us here is a video from julialokatour you can subscribe to her You Tube Channel
