Chaiyaphum provincial police yesterday (Oct 28, 2019) charged an ambulance driver with taking narcotic drugs while on duty and causing injuries to other commuters, the Thai-language Daily News reported.
The 39-year-old ambulance driver said he had turned on the siren and emergency lights before he reached the road junction, but a motorcycle cut in front of him.
The 16-year-old motorcyclist and his 15-year-old companion were sent to the hospital. They will be interrogated by the police after being discharged from the hospital.
