At the Thai Garden Resort in Pattaya on May 6, a pleasant charity event named “Dinner for a Cause” was held. The Rotary E-Club Dolphin Pattaya International, headed by President Chanunda Kongphol, organized the event with the help of Drs. Otmar and Margret Deter, as well as their committed members, in order to improve the lives of Thai children who are in need.
Participants joyfully joined together to be a part of this special occasion with a contribution of 500 Baht each. The Human Health Network Foundation Thailand, a great organization devoted to the care and welfare of Thai children, received the total revenues from the event as a donation.Dr. Otmar Deter outlined the event’s goals at the outset of the gathering. It was a chance to show compassion and solidarity while also reminding everyone of their ability to improve the futures of these deserving kids.
The Rotary Club generously donated 600,000 Baht to the CPDC for the kids’ education as part of their mission to make a difference. Their generous act reflected the giving vibe that permeated the entire evening.Ms. Ratchada Chomjinda, Director of the HHN Foundation for Thai Children, highlighted a selection of magnificent handcrafted decoupage items created by the gifted kids of Baan Eua Aree, heightening the significance of the occasion.
These one-of-a-kind things, including exquisitely designed purses and sentimental trinkets, were made inexpensively available for purchase. Attendees who bought these things not only got a treasured souvenir but also actively helped the foundation’s foster kids grow intellectually and as people.
A riveting performance of Thai cultural arts put on by the kids from Baan Eua Aree further enhanced the evening. All those there were deeply moved by their dynamic performance of ability and emotion, which served as a reminder of the significance of maintaining and enjoying our rich cultural legacy.
