Rescue Team from Pattaya Saves Chinese Man

Early on Sunday morning, a rescue squad in Naklua pulled a Chinese guy who had wandered into the sea without any garments 500 meters off the coast. His family members claim that after getting into a fight with his fiancée, the man tried to drown himself.
At 2:30 AM yesterday, October 29, a rescue team from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation successfully retrieved the victim, whose identity has been kept to preserve his privacy.
The victim became angry with his Chinese girlfriend and went into the surf at Krating Lai Beach, which located behind a hotel in the Naklua sub-district, Banglamung district, Chonburi province. This information was relayed to the rescue team by the victim’s relatives.
When the rescue squad got to the shore, they quickly located the victim’s fiancée and his unidentifiable family. The life-saving crew promptly launched two inshore lifeboats to look for the Chinese victim after learning that she had been missing for almost an hour.
After an hour of relentless searching, the man was nowhere to be found. It took the crew until the second hour to locate the Chinese victim, who was in distress and drifting in the middle of the sea 500 meters off the coast.
After being securely loaded onto the boat, the victim was carried back to land. His family and fiancée comforted him with tears, giving him a towel and giving him a hug.

The victim’s initial reasons for being irate with his girlfriend were not disclosed.

After growing irate with his boyfriend on October 23, a Thai woman attempted to carry out a similar scenario. A young Thai beachgoer who was spending the evenings on Pattaya Beach successfully saved her.
