Today’s court date was set for a man accused of killing beautician Elle Edwards in at the Lighthouse Pub in Wallasey Wiral on Christmas Eve.
In the early hours of this morning, Merseyside Police confirmed the charge (Friday, January 13). Connor Chapman, 22, of Houghton Road, Woodchurch, was charged with multiple offenses, including two charges of attempted murder, according to a police spokesperson.
He has been placed on remand and is expected to show up in court later today at Wirral Adult Remand Court.

According to a statement from the police, a man has been accused of killing Elle Edwards in Wallasey on Christmas Eve. Connor Chapman, 22, of Houghton Road, Woodchurch, is also accused of handling stolen property, including a Mercedes A Class, and of two counts of attempted murder, three counts of unlawful and malicious wounding with the intent to cause great bodily harm, possession of a firearm with the intent to endanger life, and possession of ammunition with the intent to endanger life.
“He has been placed on remand in custody to appear in court today, January 13, at Wirral Adult Remand Court. A 23-year-old woman who was detained on suspicion of helping a criminal was released on bail pending additional investigations.
