A South Korean man has been arrested in Bangkok on Wednesday following an arrest alerted by Interpol for operating a fake lottery website.
The Immigration Bureau said Sunghwa Lee was the head of the gang that operated the website.
Many of the victims are South Korean and with total losses reaching about Bt1.129 billion.
Lee, who had been in Thailand for five years, was arrested at a Sukhumvit Road department store.
