The Yala Provincial Public Health Office on Wednesday (April 8) urged employees to take precautions to avoid getting infected with Covid-19 and highlighted 10 risk areas at the workplace.
“As the number of Covid-19 people is increasing, authorities have asked people staying at home to contain the spread of the virus,” the officials at Yala Provincial Public Health Office said.
“Although several companies have allowed employees to work from home, some occupations still require employees to come to the place of work. Therefore, this group of employees should know how to protect themselves from this virus.”
The officials said that there are 10 areas in the workplace that pose a risk of infection — finger scanners, door handles, restrooms, dining tables, water dispensers, recreational areas, copy machines, work tables, meeting rooms and public devices.
