An inebriated 15-year-old Thai-British girl was apparently discovered unconscious and without her iPhone 11 on Pattaya Beach.
At one in the morning on Friday, July 23, rescue personnel from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation were called to check on a girl who was snoozing motionlessly despite a little rain on Pattaya Beach.
According to her friends who arrived later, the girl Ann (actual name withheld due to her age) was a 15-year-old Thai-British kid. Her companions noticed that one of her possessions, an iPhone 11, was gone after she was transferred to the hospital for first care.
One of her friends said to The Pattaya News, “Ann left us to drink with another group.” Everyone had to seek shelter as the rain began to pour, but Ann was just sitting there. Whether the girl simply dropped her iPhone or it was stolen is still a mystery.
According to TPN media, Pattaya police declined to comment on the claim that kids were reportedly drinking on the beach or whether any charges will be brought for the infraction. The drinking age in Thailand is 20 years old.
It was also unknown if the girl’s parents had been informed or were even aware of the circumstance.
