Police has stepped up beach safety patrols in Pattaya

The thriving city of Pattaya has taken strong measures to calm down its renowned Pattaya and Jomtien beaches in a new effort to address issues of tourist overcrowding and noisy behavior. The Pattaya City Police Station implemented a number of measures to protect the security and wellbeing of tourists in close cooperation with appropriate institutions.

Deputy Superintendent Pol. Lt. Col. Surachet Aneksri oversaw the execution of a joint operation on Sunday. For this operation, the beaches of Jomtien and Pattaya were patrolled by committed tourism police officers and more than 50 Pattaya City officers. According to Pattaya Mail, the main goals of this coordinated effort were to keep the peace and help the crowds of tourists gathered along these picturesque beachfronts.

The cops spoke with tourists as they started their patrols and emphasized that it is everyone’s responsibility to make the beach a pleasant place to visit. Their noticeable presence intended to create a safe and welcoming environment while actively discouraging disruptive behavior and limiting excessive alcohol consumption, especially during late-night beach visits—when rowdy teen partying tends to be at its height.

Checkpoints were set up to further fortify security measures, enabling thorough inspections to nab illicit firearms and halt any activity that would potentially jeopardize the safety of both locals and visitors. Residents in Pattaya beach park were surprised to see two amorous adolescents having sex there just last month. Residents of Pattaya denounced the horny couple for their immoral actions out of concern that it might damage the reputation of the tourist destination.

Visitors come from all over the world to the coastlines of Pattaya and Jomtien, which are bathed in sunlight. As a place where travelers may soak up the sun and party all night, Pattaya is still developing. Pattaya is still known as the “Sin City” of Southeast Asia.
