Adult-themed hotel to reopen in October prior to high season

The Penthouse, a three- or four-star Pattaya institution for decades, is getting a complete makeover in preparation for an October opening during the busiest travel period. Penthouse shut down at the beginning of the most current pandemic era. It was located in Pattayland Soi 2, a prominent entertainment boulevard that it shares with immortal nightclubs like Classroom and A-Bomb and eateries like The Shamrock.

An image of a deserted town has shown. Workers on the scene claimed that the gogo club’s furnishings, which were located in the same building, were being cleared out completely while maintaining the name Penthouse. The hotel’s heyday included some odd bedroom amenities including expanses of mirrors staring down from every angle and even a pole-dancing section, which made it especially popular with British male pleasure seekers. The hotel’s top-notch accommodations, which were for a long time British-run, featured names like the Babylon Spa Suite and Siam Royal Suite Duplex.

Generations of foreign travelers, admittedly almost exclusively men, who desired to be close to easy sex, a nice selection of restaurants, and amiable company were charmed by Penthouse’s unapologetically adult and heterosexual ethos. “If Pattaya was Sin City in those days, Penthouse was at the center of the action,” said Colin Moseley, who at the time managed the Cheers pub on the same street.
