Couple arrested for string of home robberies in Na Jomtien

In the Pattaya neighborhood of Sattahip, an unexpected string of home invasion robberies has been reported. Residents in the Na Jomtien neighborhood are on edge and suspicious after a string of break-ins, so Thai law enforcement officials made an arrest yesterday that centers on an odd couple, a Thai couple involved in this Pattaya crime.

The two were apprehended after a clue trail led authorities to a nearby pawn shop. A television and a microwave were among the things pawned; it is believed that these gadgets were illegally taken from the homes of unknowing residents of the Baan Eua-Athorn Na Jomtien housing project. Narin Phunet, 35, and Prompimon Trilak, 36, quickly found themselves in the center of the police investigation.

Ironically, this Pattaya crime story revealed not just the couple’s illegal behavior, but also the weaknesses in their marriage. After their arrest, they each made an attempt to place the blame on the other during a news appearance, giving the impression that their relationship would end badly.Narin stated that he had just assisted her in committing the crime by going with her to the pawn shop to sell the stolen goods. Prompimon, on the other hand, acknowledged her complicity in the Pattaya crime but vehemently insisted that Narin had actively taken part in the burglary and was not merely a spectator. Their confessions went beyond just admitting to robbing people; they also acknowledged using drugs, which added another level of intricacy to their wrongdoing.

Law enforcement officers are juggling various angles to this Pattaya crime case across the investigative desk. There are questions over whether the two were repeat offenders or whether this occurrence was the result of a string of similar actions.

To find out the truth about the couple’s criminal history, investigators are expanding the scope of their inquiries. The couple was accused of substance abuse as well as burglary.
