Pattaya Covid-19 recoveries begin outpacing infections


As people are recovering from the Covid-19 virus they are being discharged from hospitals and this has shown that the city and control over the situation.

Deputy Mayor Manote Nongyai had said on the 15th April that so far, 10 from 29 patents had been cleared and are now free to go home after an observation period

Up to date in the Banglamung District, there have been 39 cases with 15 already recovered and two deaths.

In-home and in Pattaya, we have a virtual lockdown with strict control of anyone that wants to enter the city.

With this, businesses and beaches are closed with an on-going alcohol ban and a strict night-time curfew in place. Chonburi Gov. Pakarathorn Thienchai on April 16 had said that some restrictions could be eased om May 1st if there are fewer cases of people having the virus

In a letter released by the Chonburi public-relations office, the governor said it was his hope to start reopening businesses but keeping health and social-distancing measures in place to prevent a resurgence of the virus.
