A moneylender shot a couple at their Thanyawan City Home in east Pattaya, critically wounding them.
According to the first reports, the armed suspect tried to force the couple into their car when they were at the house. When the couple refused to comply with the suspect’s demands, the suspect opened fire, seriously wounding both of the victims.
The victims were identified as Mr. Rungtiwa, 39, who was shot in the belly, right thigh, and left leg, and Ms. Kunpat, 39, who was wounded in the head and left leg. Thankfully, three children who were there throughout the shootings—ages four, six, and seven—escaped uninjured. Kunpat was able to escape the mayhem and flee to the neighbors for assistance. Rungtiwa was able to take off quickly in his vehicle, but not before the shooter fired six rounds into it.
More information is expected as investigators pursue their investigation, although it is thought that a substantial amount of money was the driving force behind the violent confrontation. The police are pursuing the offender aggressively even though they are still at large. The authorities issued a public warning that emphasized the danger to public safety and the deadly nature of the armed offender. It is recommended that locals stay alert and share any information they may have about the occurrence. The culprit is being pursued for justice, and the situation is being closely watched.
