Pattaya ping pong bomb hooligans injure 2 women

Two Pattaya women were injured when a group of teenage motorcyclists threw a ping pong bomb at them around 1 AM this morning, March 23rd.

The victims, Ms. Nantawan Kosakun, 30, and Ms. Saowalak Kanpratuyod, 20, were slightly injured by the explosion. They were assisted by Sawang Boriboon rescuers and Pattaya Police.

The two stated to the officers that while they were riding their motorcycles home on Sukhumvit Road in North Pattaya when a group of about 10 teenagers on five motorbikes approached them and hurled a ping pong bomb at them for no reason causing slight injuries to their feet.

After the incident, the group of suspects briefly raced away but soon returned and brandished a gun. An unidentified woman in the violent group shouted that they would shoot the victims, but they fortunately did not. The group escaped again before the police arrived.

Pattaya Police are working on identifying the suspects and the victims claim they did not know who the suspects were and did not have problems with anyone. Pattaya Police are reviewing the entire situation.
