Pattaya City is making preparations for the highly anticipated second edition of the Koh Larn Trail Run, scheduled to take place on February 3-4. This event aims to showcase the natural beauty of Koh Larn and is expected to attract a significant number of running enthusiasts.
To ensure a successful event, a key meeting was recently held at a local school, led by Pattaya Deputy Mayor Manot Nongyai. Attendees included representatives from the Pattaya City Administration, the Pattaya Running Association, and various other officials. The meeting focused on important matters such as traffic management and planning the race routes.
This year, the trail run will feature two categories: an 11-kilometer race and a 25-kilometer race. Both races will start and finish at Samae Beach, renowned for its picturesque scenery. To prioritize participant safety, specific timings have been established for the closure of running paths to traffic. These closures will occur from 2:30 a.m. to 3:15 a.m. and from 5:00 a.m. to 5:45 a.m., ensuring a safe environment for all runners.
Furthermore, the organizing committee will strategically position medical personnel and emergency response teams along the race routes. Their presence will serve to provide immediate assistance and ensure the well-being of all participants throughout the event.
