No doubt mindful of the heat, Katie added to her look with a straw hat and heavily tinted sunglasses as she made her way to the shoreline.
However her beach-ready look was given a questionable flourish, with the brunette opting to round things off with a pair of fluffy hotel slippers.
While her personal and professional woes overshadowed much of the last year, Katie looked happy and relaxed as she let her hair down on the winter break.
