Bangkok Police Raid Illegal Poker Den, Arrest 52 Suspects
Bangkok police conducted a major raid on an illegal poker den in Bang Kapi, arresting 52 individuals, including both Thai nationals and foreigners. The operation, carried out on Tuesday night, resulted in the seizure of gambling equipment, cash, and poker chips worth millions of baht.
Police Operation
Acting on a tip-off, officers from Lad Phrao Police Station and Metropolitan Police Division 4 raided a warehouse located on Soi Pho Kaew 3 in the Klong Chan subdistrict. Upon arrival, authorities found multiple individuals engaged in poker card games.
Police identified the main suspect as Sitthisak (surname withheld), 39, who was charged with organizing illegal gambling. The remaining 51 individuals were charged with participating in unlawful gambling activities.

The arrested individuals included nationals from several countries:

Seized Evidence
During the raid, police confiscated various items linked to the gambling operation, including:
- 66 decks of playing cards
- Two laptop computers
- A banknote counting machine
- 315,050 baht in cash
- 1,900 US dollars and 100 yuan in cash
- Poker chips valued at 51.411 million baht
