With the news that Claude Puel has just fallen through the Premier League trap door, it’s time to look at Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri who could be next! It could even be today, making it a Sunday sacking double, if things go badly at Wembley.
Sarri – Third Game Mini Challenge
At the moment it’s one – one for Sarri. He beat Malmo, pretty much the same as beating Huddersfield, and lost the big cup game to Manchester United.
Manchester City Scoring For Fun
Chelsea’s left defensive unit, with David Luiz and Marcos Alonso, do tend to lose concentration and City might focus on that. Plus Jorginho is not the greatest defensive midfielder when it comes to sensing danger. The question is will the ‘Sarri Magic Ball’ work in the great expanses of Wembley?
Prediction
It’s a cup final and predictions should be on the safe side like 2-1 or 1-2. Scores that indicate a nervy close and tense game. But City don’t do that. They go for the jugular and just need to make sure they don’t give away too many penalties.
