Vietnamese arrested in Pattaya for operating a gambling website

In the early hours of Tuesday, thirteen Vietnamese nationals were apprehended while operating an online gambling operation from three hotel rooms in Pattaya.

Soon after midnight, investigators from Metropolitan Police Division 5 and Pattaya police raided three rooms in a hotel on Pattaya Sai 3 Road in the Bang Lamung neighborhood.

Inside those rooms were thirteen Vietnamese guys. The police seized 25 laptops, 58 mobile phones, and other equipment needed to run online gambling operations.

All were taken to the Pattaya City police station and charged with conspiring to establish an online gambling organization or inciting others to gamble in a direct or indirect manner.
