A Trang man who rode his motorcycle back home to tell his wife the name of the person who had shot him, has died from his injuries.
Police said Thanit Chumchua, 25, passed away at the Si Kao district hospital to where he had been rushed by his wife, Kwanjira Taemsinual.
Thanit was shot once in the back.
The wife said her husband drove his motorcycle out of the house in Tambon Mai Fad in Si Kao district alone and came back at 7.30 am.
She said her husband told her that “Khai Daeng” did it and collapsed.
Sikao police chief Pol Col Sanit Polphet said police are checking two suspects for gunshot residue. They have been identified as Khanong Saengsrichan, 34, whose nickname is Khai Daeng, and Suparat Thongkhamdee, 25.
