Thai Tomboy Breaks Up with Girlfriend Over False Assault Claim
A Thai tomboy ended her relationship with her girlfriend after the woman refused to back her false claim of physical assault at an entertainment venue in Samut Prakan province, near Bangkok.
Incident at the Bar
The altercation occurred on the night of March 16th at a bar in Soi Bang Lam Phee. Officers from Bangpu Police Station and rescuers from the Ruam Kusol Samut Prakan Foundation responded to reports of an assault at 11 PM.
Upon arrival, they found a 25-year-old tomboy, identified as A, outside the venue with her girlfriend. A had deep cuts on her little toe and right foot, causing significant blood loss. Rescuers attempted to stop the bleeding and transported her to a nearby hospital.
Dramatic Escape from Rescue Van
While en route to the hospital, approximately 500 meters from the scene, A unexpectedly opened the rescue van door and jumped out. The driver quickly pulled over, and rescuers rushed to check on her. Despite their efforts, A refused to continue to the hospital.
The Truth Behind the Injury
During discussions with police and rescuers, A revealed that the incident began when she clinked glasses with another tomboy inside the bar. After placing her glass on the table, the other tomboy accidentally knocked it over, breaking it.
The bar staff demanded 120 baht in compensation for the broken glass, but A refused, arguing she was not responsible. This led to a heated argument with three bar guards, one of whom allegedly pushed her, resulting in her foot injury.
However, A’s girlfriend contradicted this claim, stating that A had actually injured herself by smashing an alcohol bottle on the ground and accidentally stepping on the broken glass.
Relationship Fallout
A was furious at her girlfriend for refusing to support her version of events and, in front of the officers, declared that she wanted to break up. Despite continued efforts from rescuers to persuade A to seek medical attention, she refused.
After 30 minutes of negotiations, A and her now ex-girlfriend walked away, prompting the rescue team and police to withdraw from the scene.
