Teacher narrowly escapes fire following car crash in Bueng Kan

A teacher had a lucky escape after his car crashed and burst into flames on Monday morning.

Supakorn Kwanma, 27, an English teacher at Sri Wilai School, suffered multiple injuries when his car crashed into a roadside tree at 7am in Bueng Kan province’s Sri Wilai district on the Sri Wilai-Bueng Kan road in Ban Nong Chan village, Tambon Sri Wilai.

He told police that he was on his way to buy some items for the school in Muang district but lost control of his car and it veered off the road and into the tree.

He said he managed to get out of the car just a couple of minutes before it caught fire and was quickly engulfed by the flames.
