Tham Inprasat, 20, and his sister Chatravi Patsada, 14, were riding a motorcycle along the road in front of Lalin Village in Sri Racha at one in the morning on September when they became tangled in a perilous web of communication wires, seriously injuring their neck and face.
Tham said that he did not spot the hanging communication wires over the road while he was traveling along the well-known road at night. The cable sliced his neck and wrapped itself around it since he was unable to dodge them in time. He instantly came to a stop on his motorcycle and untangled himself from the cables in order to prevent being strangled.
Chatravi, who was riding pillion, claimed that she saw the dangerous communication cables in front of them at the same time but was unable to warn her brother in time. The deadly wire severely cut her face.
They prayed to their lucky stars to be alive as they made their way home while healing their excruciating wounds. They did not report the event to the authorities until they realized the extent of their injuries in the early light.
While authorities launched an inquiry to learn what caused this traumatic tragedy and to ensure a speedy process of responsibility for those involved, both the brother and sister sought medical attention.
