Pattaya police are hunting a 41-year-old construction worker known as “Ai Oo” who slashed the neck and body of a 68-year-old shopkeeper leaving her in a pool of blood at her convenience store in Sukhumvit Road, Soi 71.
The attacker stole 4,000 baht then headed off into the rain on a bicycle leaving Wirat for dead.
She has grievous injuries and is in Bangkok Pattaya hospital.
CCTV soon led the police to know the identity of the man who comes from Saraburi.
A construction workers’ camp was surrounded last night but the suspect was not there.
He is believed to be hiding out in the vicinity, reported Daily News.
