Pattaya preparing for the Countdown events

In anticipation of the thrilling countdown events happening in Pattaya, the City Hall assembled to discuss the crucial traffic management strategy. Led by Deputy Commander Pol. Col. Pattikorn Sornsai and Mayor Poramet Ngampichet, the meeting highlighted the traffic plan’s key aspects.

Get ready for road closures! On December 29 and 30, Pattaya Central Road will be closed from the Second Road intersection to the Beach Road, from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. And that’s not all! On December 31, brace yourselves as Beach Road shuts down from the Dolphin Roundabout to Soi 10, starting from 2 p.m. until a whopping 2 a.m. the next day. Don’t fret – alternative routes will be available for motorists and public transportation.

Mayor Poramet Ngampichet gave the stamp of approval to the traffic management plan and put the Tourism Promotion Division in charge of coordinating with all relevant parties for further details. The Mayor urged the public to cooperate and abide by traffic regulations during the exciting events. To dot the i’s and cross the t’s, a final meeting will be held on December 25 to review and finalize the traffic management plan.

So get ready, Pattaya, to embrace the countdown events with open arms while keeping in mind the road closures and traffic arrangements. A memorable experience awaits!
