Pattaya Beach a 35-year-old man and a 7-year-old son died in a jet ski accident.

Two people were reported missing after a jet ski overturned in the water close to Soi 14 around 7 o’clock in the evening, according to Pattaya City Police Station personnel. Doctors from Bangkok Hospital and rescuers from the Sawang Boriboon Rescue Foundation arrived on the scene right away with the police.When Pathomphon Phonrat, age 7, was retrieved from the water, he was critically injured and unresponsive. According to ThaiRath, the man had a lot of blood running from his mouth, a broken neck and jaw, as well as a bruised neck.

Rescue personnel gave the boy CPR and brought him to Bangkok Hospital in Pattaya, where he tragically died from his injuries at 10.10 p.m. The kid’s neck and jawbone were fractured, according to the doctors.The 35-year-old operator, Pornsuphan Phumnok, was still missing at sea following the accident when police discovered his blue Yamaha jet ski at the beach.

In less than an hour after sending out a boat, the team discovered Pornsuphan’s lifeless body 50 meters offshore. He had deep cuts on his lips, under left eye, and brows.

Tony, a 37-year-old Vietnamese guy who rents out umbrellas at the beach, said he was putting things away when he observed the man take the child out on his jet ski.

He witnessed the jet ski making a fast spin and flipping about 30 meters from the shore. He claimed that the man and the youngster were both thrown into the air and collided with the side of the jet ski.Tony hopped right into a jet ski and headed out to discover the kid swimming in the water with a life jacket on, but the driver was nowhere to be seen. He assisted in carrying the kid to the shore while calling in for assistance from the authorities.

Before being delivered to their families, the Forensic Institute performed examinations on both bodies.
