Eastern and Northern Thailand warned of summer storms

The government issues a warning to citizens in the North, Northeast, East, and central region to be cautious of storm hazard this summer.

Sunday saw hailstorms, strong winds, and thunderstorms in numerous provinces.

According to Trisulee Trisaranakul, a deputy government spokesman, the Meteorological Department issued a summer storm warning from April 23 to April 26.

Extreme weather should be avoided by staying away from open spaces, large trees, and unattended billboards. They are instructed not to use their cellphones or wear metal jewelry during thunderstorms. Damage to livestock and crops should be avoided by farmers.

Additionally, the Gulf of Thailand, the South, and the Andaman Sea are all dominated by easterly and southeasterly winds, with the South experiencing heavier rainfall.
