Murphy’s Irish Pub and Restaurant
Never Goin’ Home
Murphy’s Irish Bar sits in what is known as “The Darkside” of Pattaya, away from the touristy city center. This popular Irish themed bar sits on Soi Boonsampan or to give its local name Soi Khao Noi, which most people know it as.
Like most streets in the city, you will find Bars, Restaurants, 7/11’s, motorbike repair shops, laundries, and guest houses and despite its location, Soi Khao Noi is no exception to this rule. It is a bustling street that runs from Sukhumvit Road to Khao Talo.
Murphys Irish pub, a taste of Ireland on the Darkside, great food and atmosphere and family-friendly.
Owned and run by Steve, Murphy’s Irish Pub and Restaurant located on Soi Khao Noi in East Pattaya is a far more sedate affair. This is a family orientated Irish pub and restaurant that even has its own swimming pool at the rear. As you would expect, Murphy’s has an extensive menu offering both Thai and western dishes at reasonable prices. This is a popular venue with those living in East Pattaya.
It’s a fun place and the landlord – Steve – is a great guy who always has a special event planned for his customers and a few free shots normally thrown in for good measure. The bar also has sports screens and a pool table.
Stepping inside Murphys Pub, you could be excused for thinking you are in downtown Dublin, not on the Darkside of Pattaya.
Inside there are comfortable alcove styled sofas, timber tables with leather seating and smaller tables with cushioned chairs.
Murphys Pub has the capability to cater to your needs, an intimate dinner for two or a group of friends.
Murphys Pub is a family-friendly pub, with the usual Pub Grub and something to suit everyone’s tastes.

Murphys Pub wouldn’t be an Irish Pub without some Magners Irish Cider on tap as well.
Smokers are catered for with the outdoor areas, poolside and out front where you can watch the world go by with a cold drink.
If you are a sports fan then Murphys Pub has you covered with 6 TVs.
Showing a variety of sports, from Football (Soccer), Rugby and F1 to Horse racing, Baseball or AFL (Aussie Rules).
