Man’s body found entangled in Mangrove Forest

A man’s body was found in a mangrove forest in Trang’s Kantang district late on Thursday night, police said.

The body of Nipat Phanthusen, 30, was spotted trapped against a mangrove tree root in Ban Had Sai Khao village in Tambon Naklua at 10.30pm. Police said Nipat was a resident of Tambon Kantang in the district. His mother, Piyanart Kaewpithak, 44, told police that Nipat was last seen at a fishing pier late on the night of November 25. His boat was found on November 28 with no sign of him. Police believe he had fallen from the boat due to rough seas while heading out to fish.  Source: Asia Nation
