Police have successfully captured five teenagers after their failed attempt to rob a Kuwaiti tourist on Soi Yensabai. The incident took place at approximately 3:00 AM on January 22nd in South Pattaya. The victim, 23-year-old Mobaruk Ali from Kuwait, had been in Pattaya for just two weeks when he was confronted by a group of five teenagers armed with knives.
Mr. Mobaruk bravely resisted the robbery attempt and received assistance from local residents who intervened. The group of teenagers scattered and fled the scene. Taking advantage of the situation, Mr. Mobaruk used his mobile phone to capture a video while chasing after the suspects.
Coincidentally, a police investigation team was patrolling nearby and managed to apprehend one suspect, a 14-year-old Thai teenager. Later, at around 8 AM, the Pattaya police were able to apprehend the remaining four suspects, aged between 13 and 15 years old. Due to their ages, the identities of the suspects have been withheld by the police.
