A video clip of untreated water flowing onto Kalim Beach in Phuket Sunday afternoon has caught the attention of Patong police.
Facebook user “Bong Marquez” posted a clip of black water on Kalim Beach and Patong Bay on Sunday, attracting 230,000 views.
Patong Mayor Chalermluck Kebsup visited the beach yesterday and said the source of the wastewater was Kalim Bay Residences. She added that the municipality’s water-treatment system was in good working order.
“We will report this to police. We have also instructed the hotel to fix it.
