Jet skier's body found in Phang Nga five days after he disappeared

The body of a jet skier who drowned in rough seas in Phuket was found in Phang Nga on Sunday.

A body washed ashore at a beach in Moo 7 village with a jet ski key still attached to his clothes. A doctor determined he had died about five to six days earlier.

Relatives recognised the man’s clothes and the tattoo on his body and identified him as being Koses Deebookkam, 31, who was swept off his jet ski by a big wave between Koh Naga Yai and Koh Naga Noi in Phuket’s Thalang district on July 17.

His body was handed over to relatives for religious rites.
