As soon as the rescue troops moved the body to a neighbouring hospital for a postmortem, Pattaya authorities cordoned off the area to prevent unwanted access.
The man reportedly leaped from his 45th-floor room’s balcony, based on the police’s first accounts of his acquaintances. He had apparently gotten into a heated phone argument with his spouse back home before the incident, which is what caused him to abruptly walk out onto the balcony.
According to what the companions said, they saw the victim alone himself standing on the balcony before he abruptly jumped to his death. When they calmed down, they told the personnel at the condominium, who then called the police.
The police in Pattaya are examining CCTV evidence to ascertain the exact reason for the incident. The embassy and the victim’s relatives will be notified.
