Homeless Pattaya man stabs his alleged tormentor at temple

Last night, April 6, a homeless man from Thailand allegedly bullied another homeless man in front of Temple Chai Mongkhon. Despite surviving the attack, the victim was seriously hurt. In response to a report of a brutal brawl, Pattaya Police and Sawang Boriboon rescuers hurried to Wat Chai in South Pattaya.

The incident happened in a courtyard of an outdoor movie theater in a temple district that is now hosting a temple fair. Authorities helped a victim who was crying out in pain on the ground and was only known to rescuers as Mr. Mu. Mu, who was between the ages of 35 and 45, was stabbed three times in the right shoulder, nape, and back. According to The Pattaya News, he just so happened to be homeless. At the scene of the incident, the police officers removed a blood-covered, 20 cm long knife. The victim was sent urgently to a nearby hospital. When the Pattaya News questioned witnesses about the incident, they claimed that people were watching outdoor movies when the victim and another man who appeared to be homeless unexpectedly started fighting, frightening the audience. They traded punches for a split second before separating. The victim was still viewing movies, but the suspect subsequently returned with a knife and viciously attacked the victim before fleeing. The victim was actually the one who started the initial fight, according to the witnesses.

Pattaya Police launched an inquiry the same day as the event and promptly detained the perpetrator. According to reports, Mr. Suraphon Khamtan, a 45-year-old wanderer, admitted to stabbing Mu as retaliation for Mu’s verbal and physical abuse of him. The accused said that the victim hit and kicked him, but as he was too tiny to defend himself, he fled, stole a knife from a nearby seller, and then returned to stab his fellow homeless person in the back before fleeing.

The individual was detained by police so that legal action could be done. This is the second violent incident that has occurred near Wat Chai, according to The Pattaya News. After consuming beer and marijuana yesterday, a 17-year-old youngster had an outburst and attempted to stab defenseless bystanders with a knife.

Fortunately, the Good Samaritan caught him before he could cause any damage.
