Early Morning Raid at DIRTY Pub

Mr. Chada Thaiseth, the Deputy Minister of the Interior, along with the Thai Narcotics Suppression Bureau (NSB) and over 150 personnel, conducted a raid at “DIRTY Pub Pattaya” in Soi Kho Phai, Pattaya, Chonburi. Concerned citizens had reported the venue as a hub for illegal activities and drug distribution, frequented by teenagers and visitors involved in illicit substance use and distribution. Reports also indicated frequent physical disputes among patrons and operations extending beyond legal hours.

The police investigation revealed that the pub was situated in a densely populated area with over 100 households nearby. Upon arrival, police found more than 300 patrons drinking and dancing. They conducted documentation checks and drug tests, resulting in 219 individuals testing positive for drugs, including 103 males and 116 females.

Further searches of the visitors’ vehicles led to the seizure of two firearms and additional illicit substances. Legal actions were initiated against the pub’s owners and involved individuals for operating without legal permission, selling alcoholic beverages beyond legal hours, and permitting the use of illicit substances on the premises.
