A 15-year-old boy has died after being hit by a pickup truck while riding a motorcycle in San Sai early this morning, June 25.
The accident occurred on Chiang Mai – Doi Saket Road in San Sai Noi at around 4:30 a.m.
The deceased boy, Rod Pang Noi, a student at the Ban Buak Khrok Community School in Nong Pa Khrang, rode into the path of an oncoming Toyota Hilux at a u-turn.
According to reports, he was a member of the Palaung hill tribe and come to Chiang Mai to study at school while living with an aunt. It’s not clear what he was doing at 4:30 in the morning. NO HELMET
