It remains unknown what caused a fire that severely damaged a Chon Buri beauty salon on Thursday morning, but owner Jaruwan Oonjai, 46, insists she hadn’t left any candles or joss sticks burning when she left the shop unattended.
The fire on the second floor of the salon in a shophouse in Tambon Surasak, Si Racha district, started at about 8.30am.
Six fire engines responded, the crews spending 20 minutes to extinguish the blaze.
