A 52-year-old Belgian man reportedly leaped from a building twice

The incident happened in Chonburi’s Bang Lamung district at 4.30 am.

The body of Kris (last name withheld) was discovered by police and rescuers lying on the ground near to the unit. It is believed that the victim’s fall caused him to collide with a broken garage roof.

While the body was being sent to the Police General Hospital Institute of Forensic Medicine in Bangkok for an autopsy to determine the cause of death, police surrounded the area to conduct an investigation.The Belgian man made two suicide attempts, according to 55-year-old security officer at the condominium Sombat Sasamrong.

The security claimed that while the man leaped from the second floor of the condo, he was only hurt when he first hit the ground. He continued by saying that he was powerless to prevent the victim from getting up and making another attempt.

The 45-year-old Chananchida Changwatdee, who looks after the apartment, claimed the Belgian guy had a number of chronic illnesses and might have been under stress.Locals claimed an 81-year-old French national had previously jumped to his death from the same building owing to stress brought on by underlying ailments, leading them to believe the condo may be “cursed.”
