A man who was detained for conspiring with his wife to kill his 2-year-old daughter allegedly confessed to killing his four boys who were born to one of his three previous wives.
The couple from Kamphaeng Phet, Songsak Songsaeng, 46, and Sunan Nahuanin, 40, were detained in Pathum Thani and brought to Kamphaeng Phet to show where they buried their 2-year-old daughter. On Wednesday morning, they were delivered back to Bangkok’s Bang Khen police station.
The dead girl was discovered at her mother’s Kamphaeng Phet home, buried and covered in concrete.
Mr. Songsak, who was crying throughout his interrogation at the Bang Khen police station, is accused of confessing to the murder of his daughter. According to authorities, he stated that his mental disorder caused him to kill the girl.
He claimed he wanted to apologize for what he had done since he felt guilty about his actions.
According to Pol Maj Gen Atthaphol Anusit, commander of Metropolitan authorities Bureau division 2, witnesses had reported to authorities that the suspects’ family frequently engaged in domestic violence.
The pair was apprehended after social media personality Kanthat Pongpaiboonvej, alias Kan Chompalang, called the police on two children, ages 12 and 4, on September 10 after neighbors said their father, Mr. Songsak, had physically abused them in their Bang Khen apartment. The girls’ parents were away from the house during the rescue effort.
Three kids were born to the couple. The youngest, who was 2 years old, was nowhere to be seen. According to neighbors, the couple claimed to have sent the youngster to live with her grandfather in a different province.
When questioned by police, the two girls who had been rescued admitted to them that their parents had both abused their younger sister, killing her.
The couple was later detained by police in the province of Pathum Thani. Mr. Songsak, a delivery rider, and Ms. Sunan allegedly admitted killing their 2-year-old daughter after being questioned for a long time.
The duo was reportedly nabbed while taking money out of the Big C store in the Future Park Rangsit mall, according to Thai media. From them, police took a Honda Jazz. On May 21, the car is said to have been used to transport their daughter’s body to Ms. Sunan’s residence in Kampaheng Phet.
The suspects were held at Bang Khen police station after returning from Kamphaeng Phet, where they pointed out where they buried their daughter’s body, in the kitchen area of the wife’s residence, according to Bang Khen police head Pol Col Anan Vorasart on Wednesday.
According to Pol Col Anan, investigators would keep questioning the couple to learn why they killed the child.
According to a police source, Mr. Songsak had 10 kids with his four spouses. The oldest child was 22 years old. With his first and second spouses, he had a child each, with his third wife, he had five children, and with his fourth wife, who is now his wife, he has three children.
The defendant allegedly confessed to killing four children who were born to one of his ex-wives. According to the police source, the admitted murders took place in 2013, 2014, 2016, and 2018.
According to rumors, the former third wife accused Mr. Songsak of killing their four sons. Two of the victims were allegedly abandoned in the Bang Sue neighborhood in 2013 and 2014, while the other two were purportedly dumped in the Sai Mai neighborhood.
