The IDBF World Dragon Boat Racing Championships, Thailand 2023, will be held in Pattaya City in August, adding yet another exciting sporting event to the calendar.The rowing and canoeing association of Thailand and Pattaya City collaborated to organize the spectacular boat race competition, which is in its 16th season.
The event is slated to take place in the province of Chonburi at the Mabprachan Reservoir from August 8 through August 13.Thailand currently fields more than 1,000 dragon boat competitors at the national and international levels, showcasing the nation’s dedication to the age-old sport.
The IDBF World Dragon Boat Racing Championships will be held in Pattaya for the first time, and the city’s mayor, Poramase Ngampiches, expressed his excitement about the chance, expecting it will help the city further its reputation as a place that attracts tourists interested in sports.
Those who are interested are also invited to join him at Jomtien Beach on August 7 for the contest’s official opening ceremony.
