Pattaya immigration goes on with second-stage improvements

The second phase of the enhancements to customer service at the Jomtien headquarters of Chonburi Immigration has begun. When finished, the former parking lot will be a completely enclosed and self-contained space that will reduce stress for everyone involved during waiting times and administrative procedures.

The adjacent Foreign Workers Employment Bureau and the network of legal services are unaffected by the alterations. The recent multi-million baht enhancements have disproved claims that the Jomtien immigration headquarters might relocate to Pattaya’s downtown or to a remote area in Na Jomtien.

Upon being appointed as the head of Chonburi Immigration in February of last year, police colonel Parinya Klinkesorn made a vow to City Hall that his goal was to provide law-abiding tourists and expats with a simple and hassle-free experience.
