Eight volunteers from the northeastern Thai province of Roi-et were killed and 40 injured when their bus crashed into the rear of a trailer at 3.44 a.m. yesterday morning (26 Sept 2020).
The accident took place at a junction on Highway 304 (Nakhon Ratchasima-Kabin Buri).
The two-deck bus was taking the volunteers to the tourist city of Pattaya.
The trailer truck driver told police officers that the bus was speeding and crashed into the rear of his vehicle.
