The two owners of “Kratom Rimtarn Resort” have begun dismantling 14 wooden bungalows illegally built inside Khaolaem National Park in Kanchanaburi Province, the Thai-language Daily News reported yesterday (Sept 18, 2020).

Park chief Tewin Meesap said Mr. Kittipong Tonsomboon and his wife Somwang have already dismantled 5 bungalows, and nine more will be removed by the end of September.

Once all the bungalows have been removed, national park officials will restore the area by replanting trees and replenishing water resources.
