A woman dressed in pink and armed with a pistol showed up at a gold shop in Bangkok’s Klong Sam Wa district on Thursday (July 30) with the aim of making off with a fortune.
Unfortunately, her attempt at burglary was foiled when the owner simply locked her in and waited outside until the police showed up.
The 39-year-old told police that she had taken a taxi from Minburi to the gold shop because she was desperate and had no other option but to steal gold.
Officers from Khannayao Police Station have said further investigation is necessary due to suspicious points such as the gun being owned by the woman’s boyfriend
