Employees at Jarawee, a traditional massage parlour in Bangkok’s Meng Jai area, prepared items and equipment yesterday (May 31) to welcome customers from today (June 1) after the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) announced its third phase of lockdown easing.
Massage parlour operators need to abide by CCSA guidelines to contain the spread of Covid-19, such as refraining from providing steam sauna and facial massage services, limiting the number of customers inside their venues and implementing social distancing.
“This is an opportunity for us to publicise to customers, both Thai and Chinese, that we are ready to provide service,” the operator of Jarawee said.
