The Draw

Pedro Pinto, the 44 year old Portuguese American Journalist and Chief of Press at UEFA in Switzerland, hosted the quarter-final and semi-final draws along with UEFA Deputy General Secretary Giorgio Marchetti. Ajax Out First

César picked underdogs Ajax first and matched them with Juventus. These two teams met in the 1996 Champions League final played at the Stadio Olimpico, Rome. Juventus won a penalty shoot-out after the game finished 1-1 after extra time.
