Will Smith and Martin Lawrence Face Dirty Cops in Final Bad Boys 4 Trailer

Bad Boys 4 Final Trailer

The highly anticipated final trailer for Bad Boys: Ride or Die has been released. Four years after the successful revival of the franchise with Bad Boys for Life, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are back with a new adventure that sees their characters, Mike Lowery and Marcus Burnett, on the run after their late captain is accused of corruption. The 2020 release of Bad Boys for Life was a box office hit, launching just before the COVID-19 pandemic. The upcoming sequel aims to replicate that success with its early June release.

With the release date fast approaching, Sony Pictures Entertainment has unveiled the final trailer for Bad Boys: Ride or Die. Check it out below:

The trailer dives straight into the action-packed plot, where Mike and Marcus grapple with the shocking news that their former captain, Conrad Howard (Joe Pantoliano), was allegedly corrupt. A posthumous video message from Howard hints that the true corruption runs deeper within the Miami Police Department, suggesting that someone from within orchestrated his death.

Will Bad Boys: Ride or Die Be a Hit?

The new trailer showcases the film’s potential to meet high expectations. Each installment of the Bad Boys franchise has grossed more than its predecessor, despite long gaps between releases. To continue this trend, Bad Boys: Ride or Die will need to surpass $400 million worldwide.

This trailer highlights the key elements that could drive the film’s success. Although Bad Boys for Life introduced a new team possibly set to take over, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence remain the focal point of Bad Boys: Ride or Die. This approach maintains the legacy sequel format that contributed to the previous film’s success.

In addition to the returning stars, Bad Boys: Ride or Die reconnects with earlier entries in the franchise. The plot centers on Joe Pantoliano’s character, Conrad Howard, and features the return of John Salley as Fletcher, who did not appear in Bad Boys for Life but had a cameo in the television spinoff L.A.’s Finest. These connections strengthen the character dynamics that made the original films so popular.

Bad Boys: Ride or Die hits theaters in early June, promising another thrilling chapter in the beloved action-comedy franchise.
