Vietnamese jumps to death in Pattaya
A 25-year-old Vietnamese tourist jumped to her death from a 5th-floor veranda of a hotel room in the Thai tourist resort of Pattaya yesterday (May 24, 2019), the Thai-language daily Khao Sod reported.
A Thai woman living opposite the hotel told police investigators that she saw the Vietnamese woman walking out to the veranda of her room around 1.30 a.m. She did not pay attention until she heard a loud thud and saw the twisted body of the Vietnamese woman on the street.
“I was shocked and ran into the hotel to inform the front office staff,” said the witness.
Police detectives checked the tourist’s room and found so sign of violence in it.
