Navy troops chased down a pickup truck on a road in Muang Mukdahan on Sunday night and arrested the two occupants after allegedly finding 3.7 million methamphetamine pills inside.
Acting on tip-offs, the Navy officials followed the pickup from the bank of the Mekong River.
The suspects were turned over to police for interrogation.
