A shooting at an innocent party in Nakorn Pathom has left three dead just because the noise of revving bike engines caused an argument between gangs.
Pol Captain Natthapan Damnernworakun found the bloody scene outside a rented house, one of 24 terrace properties in Tha Talat.
At the scene, police found 8 9mm shell casings and five bullets.
The three men were taken to hospital.
The three men were named as Anurak Chorawek, 25, Ritthikiat Puman, 25, and Wachara “Wat” Ketbunleu, 34.
Wachara was transferred later to Mahachai Hospital. All three men have now succumbed to their injuries after the shooting earlier in the morning.
The owner of the house had said that she was with her husband, a neighbour and the three men who died.
Seven men arrived on three motorcycles and at least three men came up and talked to the victims.
Two men walked away but one man remained. He pulled out a gun and started firing at point blank range.
The victims were hit in the body and head as everyone at the party dived for cover.
All the victims were friends of her husband Wuthichai Naree, 30, who had previously had an argument with another group over the noise from bikes. She thought it had been settled.
Police have a theory that the shooting was as a result of a dispute between rival gangs about the revving of bikes.
